From October 2015 to March 2016, about 40 leaks were reported to the media as required by law, yet none mention the Sewell Mill Creek or the Tritt Creek. In nearly all cases, it appears the leaks were simply treated with a jet machine to unstop the lines and the spill areas was cleaned and limed. The cause of the leaks were mostly rocks, roots or grease. Only one leak in Austell also required payment from the Board of Commissioners.
