Video #1: WSBTV’s Ross Cavitt reported on the Isakson Living offer of 9.5 acres for East Cobb Park in exchange for support of the proposed development. Mr. Cavitt interviewed Harvey Ruttenberg, and he expressed what many feel in this community: We appreciate the offer, but the scale of the development is still too much for this area. Ross Cavitt went on to mention that most of the donated land is in the floodplain and can’t be developed by anyone. That is true, and so this land is well-suited as parkland. 1/22/2014
